Injury Prevention

Still doing Injury Prevention runs.

Dan Stevenson. Serious shit.

His tattered face bore proof of the abuse he sustained at the hands of lightweight king B.J. Penn in the UFC 107 main event, but the gruesome gash above the left eye of Diego Sanchez was evidence of yet another weapon in the Hawaiian’s vast arsenal. After beating on Sanchez for nearly five full rounds, Penn ended their one-sided encounter with the only head kick he threw the entire fight. Bone met flesh, and the result was not pretty. Sanchez might as well have been struck by a meat cleaver. -- Brian Knapp, associate editor

W6 D6 - I am through!

I did the last day of the two hundred situps challenge today. The sets were: 39, 39, 50, 50, 39, 39, 33,33, 110 (Max 105). Those are 432 situps with 45 seconds breaks between the sets.
I think I will move to 200 squats after this.
Today I give you Rampage standing next to his toy. I support Rampage but prefer Rashad. Its probably because, whereas Rampage is a good wrestler, he is too one-dimensional: punches - while Rashad does kichs and submissions and is now back to his wrestling roots.

20 mins run

Still doing small jogs. My right knee is twitching. Here is 2009 My Olympia, Jay Cutler. Examine the anatomy closely.

W6 D2 - One more day to go!

I did W6 D2 today. 33,33,45,45, 36,36,32,32, 90. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the 9 sets. I have to admit, 200 situps is way easier than 100 pushups. I may just consider going for 200 squats after this 200 situps challenge. It is excellent for the abs. Today I give you Branch Warren. I love his ferocious training as captured in the Texas Chesr Massacre.

W6 D1

I did W6 D1 today - 70, 85, 52, 45 and 90 (max 85). Rashad beat Thiago Silva via a unanimous decision in UFC 108. Still taking it easy with 20 min runs.
