Next Road Run - 27.2 Kms - August 22nd

We have agreed on the tentative dates for the next road run. It is a 27.2Km loop. We will probably have an additional three participants, making us 7 in total.
My legs are getting back. I took the stairs to my 20th floor office twice today. Still thinking of a strategy to take up phase two of my training. I am ruling out speed runs (too many injuries associated with them) and will probably just use fartleks and interval training for my speed work.
Here is the map.
Cheers

Twenty-seven! As in 1,2,3,4, 4.5, 4.65...... 25, 26, 27, 27.2km ...
I won't miss it - even if I have to walk after the 25th km! I will be there.
That is my goal for the remaining part of July and August ... 27.2km...
Cheers

Yeah, that's the spirit. No experience can replace going the distance and emptying your tank in the process. Its an exploration of the frontiers of the human spirit and mind. Like they say, its all mental until you pass out. Then its physical.
Cheers.

This run of 27.2Kms will really be a challenge but it can/will be done.
